Hi I am so glad you are here!
I’m Megan Goddard. I am a certified Pilates and Barre instructor as well as the creator of Omegan3. I live in an eccentric little beach town with my husband, Braden and our rescue pup, Owsley. If I’m not hanging with my family, then I’m most likely moving around somewhere near the ocean.
If you are here, you may be wondering what Omegan3 is about. It began as a way to express my love for health and wellness by sharing what I was learning in my Nutrition classes. Then, it kept flowing as I got down in the kitchen creating recipes to retro feel good music via Instagram. The idea was to show others that cooking can be approachable and exciting! Eventually, it became much more than that as we leaned into vulnerability.
Recently, I have stepped away from creating food content to put my focus full-time into being an instructor and expanding my knowledge in movement. Although life may be pulling more in this direction, my idea of wellness still remains the same today — It’s about being mindful of movement, stepping away from diet culture, rooting back to intuitive eating, tuning into mental health, learning about longevity, getting in touch with nature, but overall doing whatever makes you feel your best!
I understand that health and wellness is not a one-size-fits all kind of deal because it looks different for everybody. However, treating wellness as if it’s self care is your damn right! I hope this space provides you with ideas.
