Nutty Banana Bread

  • 2 mashed ripe bananas
  • 2 pasture raised egg
  • ⅓ cup melted coconut oil
  • ½ cup pure maple
  • 1¾ cup whole grain flour
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • ½ cup raw walnuts (optional)


  1. Combine wet and dry ingredients together
  2. Fold in about ½ cup raw walnuts
  3. Pour into a loaf pan that is lined with parchment paper.
  4. Top with another banana (cut lengthwise).
  5. Bake on 325F for about an hour.
  6. Let it cool.
  7. Optional: Serve it with a slab of salted peanut butter for a filling breakfast or snack.
